Custom 28oz Weighted Cocktail Shaker
Screen Print OnlyAlso known as a tin, cocktail shaker or Boston shaker, a 28 oz. shaker is traditionally used to cap a mixing glass, beverage glass or work in conjunction with a 16 oz. shaker to shake or mix cocktails. This one has a reinforced bottom, which is also known among flair bartenders as a weighted shaker allowing for more of a professional “shake.” We offer our weighted 28 ounce shakers in a variety of fun colors with screen printing options.

Screen Printing
Cocktail shakers are only imprinted using one color silk screen printing. Full color Kolorcoat™ is not available for this product. To learn more about screen printing and for additional tips, visit the silk screen print section of the FAQ.
Cocktail Shaker Design Tips
Screen Printing (1 color graphics)
- Resolution. Vector artwork works best. If your artwork is rasterized, high resolution (300 dpi) is ideal for crisp clear results. All of the artwork offered in our clipart gallery meets these requirements. However if you are uploading your own, this is important to keep in mind.
- Color Limit. Keep it one color. If you are uploading your own artwork, please keep in mind that with the screen printing process we will not print in more than 1 color or gradients. This means any images with shading or drop shadows will not be accepted.
- Fonts. Font choice is very important. If you choose to use text, please be cautious of the font you choose. Please make sure it is clear and well spread out.
- Design. When choosing your design, please keep in mind that bold designs stand out best. If you get involved in a lot of small detail with your design, you may lose some definition and ultimately be unhappy with the outcome.
- Color Choice. Black ink will always stand out best on a white or stainless steel shaker, but certainly not on a black shaker. Please keep this in mind when choosing your ink color. Try to keep your ink color choice complimentary to your shaker choice.
- Orientation. Generally, with over standard 28oz and 16oz shaker tins, bartenders prefer their design to be "upside-down." That is, the graphic looks right-side-up when the cocktail shaker is stored with the opening facing down. This is why in the Online Designer the opening faces down. With the three piece shakers, they are stored upright, so they appear upright in the Online Designer. As always, you are free to rotate your artwork and text however you'd like it in the Designer.
